Like many programmers, I started out as a hobbyist in my youth doing anything from game development to website design. Some of the noted things here are from my years in college as well.
From 2010 to 2014 I ran a roleplaying group known as ‘Agharta’. It was a group of about 20-40 people at any time, organized through forums, IRC, and a mediawiki, all hosted and designed by me. For events, we used a server emulator called eAthena (and later rAthena) for a game known as Ragnarok Online.
While admin there I hosted a number of game events that used an dice system, as well as created numerous npcs, custom items, custom maps, etc through the use of community, software, and tools.
Some leftover projects from this are –
- Elysium-Tan’s Working Designs – a small showcase of all the maps I created using software known as BrowEdit, which used existing textures, 3D models, etc, to create maps, including GAT files (basically, how a character walks on the map) and lightmaps.
